Amtrak offers a USA rail pass which allows someone to travel on 18 trains over a period of 45 days wherever Amtrak goes (except by bus and Canada and two lines) for $860. This has got to be the cheapest way to see multiple cities across America...so I'm going to do it. After Spring quarter 2014 (Sometime in the middle of June) I'm going to film Denise and my trip across the US to 17 different destinations (and Seattle) and compile our journey on YouTube.
We need some help deciding on where to go exactly and there are some logistic complications in terms of how the rail system is set up so I've set up a poll on this website for input. We can only choose two of the choices following metros in each of the following:
Houston vs Memphis vs Atlanta
Minneapolis/St. Paul vs Albuquerque vs Denver (One of the prettiest train trips) vs Houston
A 45 day trip isn't going to be cheap. We'll secure funds to cover essentially everything except entertainment, which is why I've added a donation feature to this site.
